A CHICAGO STORY TO UPLIFT ENGLEWOOD.

THE DEBUT ALBUM

COMING FEBRUARY 2026.

the journey begins here.

“Trench Baby Turned Farmer” is more than an album—it’s a living testimony of resilience, transformation, and legacy. This immersive art exhibit invites the community to walk through the four defining eras of my life that have shaped me into the artist, farmer, and man I am today. Each section of the exhibit brings together visuals, music, artifacts, and memories that piece together a journey from survival to self-realization. This is a tribute to the people, places, and pivotal moments that formed me—and a space for others to reflect on their own roots, struggles, and growth.

WELCOME TO THE COMMUNITY GRDN.

HEAVY CROWNZ is an artist, creative director, and community curator. Hailing from the Englewood neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, he has one purpose for his music; to plant seeds of positive thought in the minds of his listeners. With a raspy voice, shifty effortless flow, and unique sense of style, Heavy’s sound is agricultural; forever promoting growth and the beauty in it. Often referred to as Farmer Crownz, he tends to his own gardens by seamlessly integrating community service into Chicago HipHop culture.

Heavy has embarked on three independent national tours, sold out his first Chicago headline show at the Promontory, and opened for multiple artists such as Killer Mike, Digable Planets, Curren$y, Premo Rice, MAVI, Channel Tres, Waka Flocka, Twista, and Mother Nature. He has also performed at multiple iconic venues and festivals such as the Museum of Contemporary Art, 80/35 Festival, Taste of Chicago, Taste of Randolph, Wicker Park Fest, TIP Fest, and From the Go Fest. In his day to day, Heavy Crownz oversees the Peace Campus of the Imagine Englewood If… nonprofit organization.
